Your First Visit

What does a typical session look like?
Thirty minutes, 1-on-1 with your physiotherapist. The first visit is assessment plus treatment, and you leave with a clear plan and home exercises. Follow-up sessions build on that plan — treatment, progression, and reassessment as you improve.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the condition — and that’s exactly what your first assessment determines. You’ll leave visit one with an honest timeline, not an open-ended plan. Some issues resolve in a handful of sessions; complex or post-surgical cases take longer. We’ll always tell you upfront.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Book online to see real-time availability, or contact us and we’ll find you the earliest slot.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please complete your consent and intake forms before arrival — you’ll receive them by email via Jane App. If you can’t, arrive a few minutes early to fill them out at the clinic.
What should I bring to my session?
Bring your care card and insurance benefits card if you have one. If you have an open ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim, bring your claim number — plus any notes from your doctor or surgeon.
What should I wear?
Comfortable athletic wear — a tank top, sports bra, t-shirt, or shorts. We need to see and access the area we’re treating.
Is there free parking?
Yes — free parking spots right outside the clinic.
What should I expect during treatment?
We start with your history and orthopedic testing to pinpoint the problem, then treat — manual therapy, movement work, IMS, cupping, or gua sha, depending on your plan. Some therapeutic discomfort is normal; we check in throughout so treatment never goes beyond what you can tolerate.

Treatment & Techniques

What conditions do you treat?
60+ conditions — including back and neck pain, sciatica, sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, TMJ, concussion, and arthritis. Browse all conditions we treat →
What techniques do you use?
Sessions can include manual therapy (soft tissue release), therapeutic exercise, IMS/dry needling, cupping therapy, shockwave therapy, joint manipulations, and gua sha — whatever your plan calls for.
Do you do IMS / Dry Needling?
Yes. Rajan is certified in IMS and dry needling (Levels 1 & 2) and is registered on the Dry Needling roster through the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
Will physiotherapy hurt?
Some techniques involve therapeutic discomfort — that’s normal and expected. But we check in throughout, work within your tolerance, and treatment should never leave you feeling worse.
Are the treatment methods evidence based?
Absolutely. Care is rooted in evidence-based practice and individualized to you. Rajan completed his Master of Physical Therapy at UBC, with an Honours background in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry — including years in academic and private-sector research.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No referral needed to book. Note: some insurance providers require one for direct billing, and your surgeon may provide post-op instructions — bring those to your session.

Billing & Insurance

What are your rates?
Sessions are $100 for 30 minutes. See full rates →
Do you offer direct billing?

Is physiotherapy covered by MSP?

Do you accept ICBC claims?
Yes. Bring your claim number and contact us before booking. ICBC covers 25 physiotherapy sessions within 12 weeks of the accident — fully covered, with no extra fees from us.
Do you accept WorkSafeBC claims (WCB)?
Yes — please inquire directly before booking so we can verify your claim number. You’ll need a valid WCB claim number and the injury reported to your workplace and healthcare provider.
How can I pay for my session?
Credit (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) or debit — settled after each session.
What is the cancellation policy?
Minimum 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Less than that may be charged the full session cost.
